A Day Off

School is about to start up so I took the day off and spent most of it watching Jeremiah and debating my post-apocalyptic preparedness while researching my trip to Yosemite this summer. So far while asking about places to photograph, I have been told to buy books and to shoot the sunset at Glacier Point...both of which I could have easily figured out on my own. I'm a huge fan of Ansel Adams, so I might try to recreate some photos of his while there. Anyone have any other Yosemite advice? I'm also thinking about driving the Tioga Pass and staying at Mono Lake. Any insider info about these locations would be great too!

Accommodations? Bear advice? Food? Camera travel advice? I'm especially nervous after reading a post at Photofocus this week. I haven't bought my DSLR yet, but I've never had problems with my P&S on domestic flights, and didn't know people were having problems flying with gear. =(

Back to the survival preparations, it's a topic me and my boyfriend debate quite a bit, enough that he's starting a blog about it, which I'll get back to soon. =)

Here's some more photos from the Macro shoot I did this week:
